Each part of the pike is built in sectional form at George’s workbench, then is installed into the layout. This is the final section, the village of Bedford. Track center lines are marked and the Homasote base is then cut to fit. A storage yard will be underneath. The raised portion at the left will later be occupied by the Tilly Foster coal mine.
