Beautiful Lakewood Cemetery is the perfect setting to honor our nation’s veterans.  Ride the streetcar right to the Lake Calhoun gate, open once each year, for this special event only. PJ Party

Put on your jammies and grab your best bear. Then head for the Linden Hills Station at Lake Harriet for the PJ Party. We'll start with milk and cookies on the platform, then board the streetcar for a trip down the line. We'll stop for a bedtime story from a noted children’s author before we return to the station. The event lasts about 45 minutes. In the event of rain the PJ Party will be postponed to the following Thursday.

Murder Mystery

There's a murder aboard a trolley on the Como-Harriet Streetcar Line and you're a witness. Who did it and why? Help solve the crime. The trip generally lasts about 45 minutes.

Streetcar Camp for Kids

Thursday, August 14 - 9 AM to 1 PM
Tuition: $47

For kids 7 to 11 who love streetcars! We'll spend the morning learning all about track, motors, and controls. We'll see how the crew does their jobs. Then each child will have the unique opportunity to climb into the Motorman's seat and run the car down the line. Enrollment is limited to about a dozen children.

Farmer Ken’s Pumpkin Patch

Take a trolley ride and bring home a Halloween pumpkin. Riders get off the car at the “pumpkin patch” where they can search for just the right pumpkin to bring home. There are no advance tickets or reservations.

Ghost Trolley

Actors board the streetcar for a Halloween adventure. Some of the ride takes place in the dark and things do go bump in the night. It’s fun and not too scary, but may not be suitable for the youngest children. The trip is about 20 minutes. This annual event has become a real family favorite and you should plan on a moderate wait to board. There are no advance tickets or reservations.
