Twin City Rapid Transit Car Number 1300 is 100 years old this summer. Built in 1908 at the company’s shops in St. Paul, it is one of only two TCRT streetcars to survive intact (the other is in Maine). The car appears today just as it did when the system was shut down forever in June, 1954. Today, TCRT 1300 operates on one mile of track following the Como-Harriet Line original right-of-way between Lake Harriet and Lake Calhoun.
